We start with a free Site/Domain Check:

  • We make sure everything is OK with your domain name.
  • We make sure that your server is up to par

After that, it starts to depend on what you need.

Do you intend on writing your own articles/webpages? It’s really easy these days. This site is running on Wordpress, which has a simple Post Editor that allows us to create articles on a daily basis with ease. They call these things CM (”Content Management”) Systems, or CMS.

Joomla is another CMS, although it’s trickier to use.

For a Joomla site like http://www.GloriosaVineyards.com, we would charge $300 to install Joomla and style the site with your graphics and create articles that contain your site’s current contents.

After that, you could create your own articles, menus, etc if you wanted to.

There are hundreds of plugins like photo albums etc we can help you with if you want.

For a small site with under a dozen pages, we oftentimes recommend a Custom Site. CM Systems can be expensive to tailor, since the programmer’s hands are tied by the CM System. Custom Sites can be anything you imagine, with no limits. You can always add on a CM System to a Custom Site, so there’s no downside.

We have a bunch of templates here: http://www.poolsidecomputing.com/templates/

Basically, you pick one and we turn it into a site. We did that for http://www.cepi.com and http://www.padresmexican.com. You might also like a particular site, and we can copy it.
Prices start at $300.

For shopping carts, there are more options. For over 20 items, we recommend Zen Cart. (http://www.drchair.com)
For less than that, there is Simple Cart: (https://www.cdrepairman.com/shop/)
For special cases, like reservations etc, you need a Custom Cart, like http://www.zonifudge.com or http://www.toddlerstravels.com

Let us know what you think you might be needing on the site.
We charge $50/hr, and it takes us 6-8 hours to get a site together
